You grab it every time you open the window. But you do not think about it. It is just there.
When it works, you do not notice. When it breaks, you notice immediately. The window becomes useless. You cannot open it. You cannot close it properly.
A good handle lasts for years. A cheap one fails in a few.
The seals you cannot see
The rubber strips around the window are doing important work. They keep air out. They keep water out. They keep noise out.
You cannot see them doing their job. They just sit there, quietly stopping things from getting in.
